As always there are some other minor changes here and there, and some secrets that will be revealed when this firmware goes Official, but those Release Notes are probably the most beneficial changes and enhancements at this time.
New HDR to SDR Conversion Modes are as follows:
Mode 1: Optimized to preserve the most highlight details
Mode 2: Optimized to preserve a balance between highlight and shadow details
Mode 3: Optimized to preserve a balance between mid-tone and highlight details
Mode 4: Optimized to preserve the most shadow details.

Most folks who have been using HDR Strip Metadata to get SDR with BT.2020 color gamut should now use the new HDR Off (BT.2020) choice.
The HDR Strip Metadata choice remains available, but is intended for use with displays that have custom HDR handling implemented.
Anyone using the HDR to SDR conversion should revisit your choice of Target Luminance setting. Odds are you will find a higher number works better than the value you've been using up to now.
