A ma grande suprise, Marantz le recommande sur son site : What advantages does 'Bi-Amping' offer and which (A/V) receivers/amplifiers support this function?
If your loudspeakers have separate connections for the mid/high and low frequency range, bi-amping is recommended in all cases. In the majority of cases this result in a clear improvement in sound quality. This has also been confirmed by renowned test magazines. The advantage of bi-amping lies in the complete separation of the amplification of the low and mid frequency ranges. However, this requires two amplifiers per loudspeaker. The mid-frequency amplifiers must generally provide no additional high current, so that their supply voltage remains more constant and couplings with the more power-hungry low-frequency range can be prevented. This has a particular effect on the stability of the tone in the essential mid- and high-frequency range, which is essential to the sound. Our current A/V receivers in models up from the NR1602, for example, support the bi-amping of both front loudspeakers. This, of course, only applies if you want to use a 5.1 system in your home cinema, in place of a 7.1 system.

J'aurais aimé avoir des retours d'expérience pour savoir si mon cerveau me joue des tours ou non
:merci:
