The edge-led models at the bottom of the QLED range get a new 'dual led' backlight, where LEDs with two different color temperatures are used. Samsung QLED models normally use blue LEDs with a color temperature of approximately 10,000 to 12,000 Kelving, the new dual-LED backlight uses yellow LEDs with a color temperature of 4000 to 5000 Kelvin and blue LEDs with a color temperature of "more than 20,000 Kelvin '. Thanks to this combination, the color temperature of the mixed backlight matches better with the desired white point of 6500 Kelvin, so that the LCD panels have to compensate less and the contrast of the Q60T and Q70T should be significantly higher than the edge led models of last year.
