I have only every tried to drive 4K24 to Sony’s from 1080P24 sources and that is fine. 20XX units are not HDMI2.0
Anything converting 60Hz to 30Hz is going to look juddery…..50Hz to 25Hz would only ever work with a film source…and as i say i’ve never tried it.
I think there is a potential capability to force 4:2:0 4k50/60 out of an HDMI1.4 device but Lumagen have NEVER suggested to me they are considering it.
